Is The Roman gay an agency that only accepts lgbt people on its tours?
Absolutely not. Although most of our tours have the lgbt note, we are delighted to welcome all. The only condition is that people share our idea for an open and non-homofobic place.
If we decide to take the tour, can we leave the guide before the end of the tour or stay in the monuments longer?
Absolutely. Once inside the monuments you will be totally free to leave the guide at any time. We hope, however, that you will enjoy the experience until the end of the tour. For those interested, it will be possible to stay extra time in the monuments after the tour has ended.
Are the tours suitable for disabled people?
Unfortunately this depends on the type of tour. For certain types of tours, we cannot guarantee all the necessary comfort. We suggest you to contact us in private, so we can decide together which option best suits your needs.
Can your enter the monuments with strollers and trolleys?
No. For security reasons you cannot enter monuments with trolleys. As for strollers, there are no problems.
In case of bad weather, do the tours start anyway?
Yes. It is important to clarify that some areas of the Colosseum, in case of bad weather,could be closed for safety reasons.
Are animals allowed on the tours?
As for the Colosseum and Vatican tours,pets are not allowed. As far as our walking tours,the pets are more than welcomed. Just please let us know about the pets in reservation,so we know how to organize the groups.
What documents do i need to show, to get the reductions for tour prices?
Valid ID.
If we decide to book the tour with you, is entry to the monuments immediate?
What we guarantee is priority entry. This does not mean that you can skip security checks.
Is transportation from the hotel to the meeting point of the tour included in price?
All out meeting points are easily accesible by public transport (1,5£ per ride), on foot or by taxi.
What happens if we arrive late for the tour?
If you arrive late, we will try to put you in a later group, although this will not always be possible. If there are spots available in subsequent groups, you will only pay for the new skip the line ticket.
